Seize the day, if you'd like
There's always a chance to do so
In every event, bad or good,
There's always a way to seize the day
Make the best of everything,
Or at least you may as well try,
There's only one chance you'll ever have
to laugh instead of cry
Live every second to its best,
Every minute to its fullest
And at the end, be glad you can say
You've seized the day in every way
I really like this poem, it's so positive, and really true, I think that it's a good length too.

ReplyDeleteI like your use of a consistent rhyme scheme here. Try to make sure though that the word choice does not get overrun by rhyme.
